Hello and welcome to the 26th edition of the main podcast where we take a look at Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and then have a brief discussion on Christmas films. The regular cast welcome some special guests to the show: Bex Coulter, Josh Ashton and Wendy Selleck.
First up, Rogue One. What do you do if you are Disney? You spend $4billion on Lucasfilm and you want to start to recoup the money you have spent. Luckily, this investment includes arguably the preeminent science fiction franchise ever, so you expand the story, backfill some bits, and you have Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film stars Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna and Donnie Yen amongst others.
Our next podcast special will be a review of 2016 and a look forward to 2017.
