BTTF#007 – Avengers: Age of Ultron, Predestination and Lawrence of Arabia

Welcome to the seventh episode of the main podcast!

First up is the latest release from Marvel Studios, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Would Paul and Robert consider it a worthwhile experience attending the midnight showing on day of release? Would Marc still be wondering why we put him through these sorts of film and would Michael consider it another great addition to the canon of Marvel works?

Our home release is Predestination. This small Australian sci-fi film explores time-travel and certain paradoxes that are part and parcel of that experience. Starring Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook, is this film a must-see?

Finally, our classic film is one of the truly epic masterpieces of yesteryear, David Lean’s Lawrence of Arabia. This is one of Robert’s all-time favourites but would the other lads be in agreement?

There are a few sound issues in this edition and we would like to apologise for this and hope it does not spoil your enjoyment of the episode.

Our next episode will see us taking a look at four films: two cinema releases in the form of Mad Max: Fury Road and Tomorrowland, the home release is Birdman starring Michael Keaton and a relatively recent british classic from Chris Morris, Four Lions.

  1. There is no such thing as a 10. Perfect doesn’t exist… Go to a website like IMDB for a creditable scoring system.
